Where Was I?

Five months before this writing, I had gotten a fantastic Akashic Records reading from Joanna Salerno. Not knowing my background or connection to shamanism, Joanna began the reading with the revelation of a past life I had as a wizard within a Seventh Century shamanic community in Scotland. As she explained, the Records indicated that “the unseen” had formed me and framed me from that point forward, which totally resonated.

A few months later, I got an email from Garry Gewanta friend whose spirituality-based events I had attended from time to time, over the years, in various parts of New Jersey.  I hadn’t seen Garry in a while and was feeling drawn to the past life regression workshop he had scheduled for Saturday January 18, 2014.  My inclination was to determine if I could connect with that Seventh Century existence Joanna had mentioned, and learn what I could learn.  So I registered for Garry’s full-day event.

On the day of the event, the weather wasn’t all that cooperative.  It was snowing and the roads were slippery.  Still, a dozen of us past life regression seekers did make it to Garry’s venue.

The morning session involved Garry’s leading a discussion of past life regression in general, and in the afternoon, after some preliminary exercises, he was to guide us to wherever it was we would be going while in a hypnotized state he would induce.  This being a group-session and not a one-on-one event, Garry’s guidance could only be general, and there would be no interacting between him and any members of the group during the regression.

We all closed our eyes and relaxed, as Garry began guiding us into a trance state.

The vision came quickly for me.  Entranced, I was transported back to what I took to be Seventh Century Scotland, and saw a ghostly version of myself there.  I was indeed part of a shamanic community.  We were gathered in a clearing in a forest.  The community appeared to be nomadic, and it registered that we were from the future somehow, time travelers of a sort—at least that was the information coming to me as I envisioned.  I did not see any children there, nor any living quarters.

While inside the vision, I was walking among the gathering and became very consciously aware that I had absolutely no fear or concern of the men around methis in stark contrast to how it was on the streets of Brooklyn of my youth where I was always on guard.  (Why the streets of Brooklyn of my youth were my frame of reference, I can only surmise.)  I wondered why I had no fear and looked down at my body.  It was then that I realized that I was a woman (as Joanna had noted in the reading), seemingly in her twenties.  At that point my consciousness (such as it was) was thrust out of the vision itself, and I became more of a third-party observer.

I watched as the woman I was came further into focus.  As she walked, it was as tho she were gliding thru the grounds.  “A very light body,” I thought.  (For ease of reference here, I will at times refer to the woman in the vision as “Rhona,” a name I selected from the list here.

On a prompt from Garry to look around for someone we knew, I found a version of my internet friend Cindy (who, in this life, had recommended Joanna to me initially).  In the vision, Cindy was male (as Joanna had mentioned during my Akashic Record reading), young and handsome.  He was pursuing Rhona, but she perceived him only as a friend.  Finally she gave in, almost as a favor.  They made love only once.  There was no vision of the act, only a realization.

Rhona knew, and I sensed that the entire community was aware, that their souls had incarnated knowing that they would be slaughtered one day.  That was their destiny.  It was what they had signed up for.  And that's exactly what happened in the vision.

When an invading horde entered the village, Rhona walked up boldly but peaceably to confront the horrifying bearded hairy monster who was the leader of the gang of blood-thirsty warriors.  She stared him in the eyes, fearlessly, and said nothing.  In one sudden swipe with his huge heavy sword, the horde leader cut off Rhona’s head.  It came to me that she was actually happy about the quick death because she did not want to be raped.  And because, as the shamans say, “It's important how you die.”

The horde leader reached down to the ground and grabbed Rhona’s bleeding head by the hair.  He held it up and mockingly yelled to the community now gathered around, “Here’s your great mystic.”  Then he and the rest of the horde proceeded to slaughter everyone in the village.

I saw Rhona’s spirit/soul exit her body peacefully.  In spirit as in life, she was beautiful.  As a spirit walking away from the horror, she would not turn around to witness the atrocity being committed; but she knew what was happening.  Nor was I permitted to watch, as a third-person observer, which was okay by me.  However, I did at one point see wild dogs eating at Rhona’s body.

It came to me that somehow as a result of this horror, when the souls of the community were outside their slaughtered bodies, their energies spread out, and seeds of spirituality began to be sown far and wide.  That was apparently the goal they had, as souls, before agreeing to incarnate and be slaughtered.  That is, they were there to die as they did, and as a result (somehow) spread spirituality for the overall betterment of mankind.  Why they had to go thru such a horrible death in order to accomplish this result was not revealed.  Nor could I help but wonder if there were not a better way.

Once the vision was over, I meditated on how that life of mine as Rhona was impacting me now in this life—which was the reason for doing the past life regression to begin with.  In the main, the answer was twofold.

First, in this life, I am into spirituality, and help to spread spirituality via my book, website, participation at circles, seminars, mediumship and spirituality events, meeting people of a like-mind, and sharing stories; all of which tends to strengthen our connections, and reinforce our beliefs.

Second, I have undertaken my 9/11 truth efforts to help bring about justice for innocent victims ruthlessly slaughtered.

On a macro level, my take is that energies (known as archons***) possessed the horde back in the Seventh Century, and that these are the same energies (or family of energies) that inhabited those who massacred the nearly three thousand people in the false flag atrocity known as 9/11, and millions later in the name of the bogus and endless “War on Terror”  (which would be more appropriately named, the “War of Terror”).   I did not get that the same souls were involved.

A third impact on my current life from that life of mine in Seventh Century Scotland, is the death wish I seem to have at times (but never take too seriously) in this life.

So, where was I, in actuality, during this past life regression?  Was the vision I experienced an accurate portrayal of a slice of my soul's personal history?  Or just a dream.

In short, I am not sure.  For all the paranormal experiences I’ve had throughout my life, I am still somewhat of a skeptic.  It seemed at times that this vision was too pat, fed by prior references and revelations, and that i might have been “making it up.”

But then again, I was in a fairly deep hypnotic state which (for me at least) is usually a trustworthy environment.  Also, the vision was very vivid and independently directed, thereby providing authenticity, in my view.

At the end of the group past life regression session, Garry brought us back into our current selves.  I shared my vision with the group.  There was no feedback, except a pat on the back from Garry.

Later, I asked Cindy for her take and she said, “I feel it probably happened as you saw it.”

I would say that the vision is true in some symbolic sense, and maybe historically as well.

I had also asked Garry in an email, “with regard to the experience i had/shared at your workshop—what was your take on what i experienced, as shared?  [did it] seem valid to you, or [was it just] me ‘imagining things?’”

Garry responded, “That question is in all of our thoughts after a PLR [past life regression].  There is only one person who can answer that and that’s you. If it felt real to you, it was. If you think it was your imagination, I would ask: is it possible that what you interpret as imagination could really be your subconscious access to a past life experience that you perceive as imagination?  More food for thought.”

Yes, and that is the bottom line.  I have indeed thought about the experience and decided to blog about it.  And so that’s where I am,  at the moment of this writing.

Thanks for reading.  As always, comments welcome.

***For more on the archons, see my Amazon review of Hank Wesselman's The Bowl of Light here  where I point out a. . .
. . . somewhat disturbing discussion of a "the deceivers" (called "archons" by the early Gnostics, as Hank observes in a footnote on page 250). Makua [the great Hawaiian mystic] describes the deceivers as those 'free-ranging psychic entities, invisible beings [not spirits] who function as mind parasites...they especially attach themselves to our political, economic, and religious leaders--to all the major players in the game.' During Makua's discussion of the deceivers, Hank pointedly interjects, "I thought furiously and responded, 'The Christian massacre of the pagans...the Dark Ages...the Thirty Years' War...the Inquisition...the witch hunts...the Holocaust...9/11...' Makua smiled sadly and simply nodded in agreement" (page 226).

Article Posted on the Shaman Portal

On the shaman portal, they ask for people to "Share with our global community the ways in which shamanism impacted your life. A shamanic moment of discovery after which your life were changed forever." I posted the article pasted below at http://www.shamanportal.org/display_impacts.php

I began studying shamanism and attending drumming circles and workshops in March 2001. In August 2008, my employer moved us to the NYC financial district. Whenever I was there, a horrible depressed feeling would overtake me. One day while I was walking despondently around the World Trade Center area, I telepathically called out to my spirit guides and spirit helpers and asked “Why do you have me in this godforsaken place? It’s killing me!” They replied, clearly and matter-of-factly, “We need your energy here.” A few days later I attended the September 2008 New York Shamanic Circle. Visiting that night was Susana, an Ecuadorian medicine woman who brought a marvelous energy into the room. The final journey was “In honor of 9/11.” Once we started to journey, I was immediately asked by unidentified but benevolent-feeling spirits to allow their energy to flow through me while I was in the WTC area. I agreed. I shared the experience with the circle and Susana said, “Thank you for sharing that. It was very important that you shared that.” I was honored! The following Sunday morning while I was in the shower, a group of “9/11 restless spirits” came to me and telepathically asked that I do a little more. Specifically, I was to research what really happened on 9/11, and spread the word about the results of my research. I agreed, did the research, and soon realized that the U.S. government has been lying to us about what really happened on 9/11. The next day I began emailing 9/11 truth information to family and friends. Almost immediately, that horrible depressed feeling I got whenever I entered the WTC area left, and has never returned. In 2009, I was “called upon” to represent 9/11 family members in court in their efforts to have a new investigation into 9/11 (I’m a lawyer). We lost the case, but spread the word about 9/11 Truth to tens if not hundreds of thousands more people. The litigation also sparked the “Building What?!” campaign (renamed “Remember Building 7”) and helped make perhaps millions more people aware of 9/11 Truth. Shamans say “It’s important to know who you are and where you are.” For me, investigating 9/11 Truth is key to answering those questions, and I would not have become aware of 9/11 Truth were I not a student of shamanism. I continue to be active in the 9/11 Truth movement, and am grateful for the experiences I have had liking Spirituality and 9/11 Truth.

*THE* Book to Read on 9/11, Ten Years After

Today I have posted on Amazon.com, the following five-star review of David Ray Griffin's latest book, 9/11 Ten Years Later: When State Crimes Against Democracy Succeed.

For anyone not up to speed on 9/11 Truth, as well as for those fully versed in the topic, David Ray Griffin's "9/11 Ten Years Later" is currently *THE* book to read. And it almost wasn't written, for Professor Griffin--the premier researcher/author/spokesperson for 9/11 Truth--had to recover from a series of life-threatening crises before he could begin writing this superb work which highlights and summarizes the overwhelming evidence proving beyond a reasonable doubt, that 9/11 was an inside job.

A most intriguing segment of this excellent book involves Professor Griffin's addressing the issue of why "otherwise rational journalists" have endorsed the official story which is so riddled with what the author labels as "miracles," uniquely defined therein as events that contradict the laws of science. As to why journalists have failed us, the answer depends on which journalists are being discussed, but the reasons are, in sum, the fear of being discredited by their (mainstream) colleagues, and the fear of being distracted from "more important matters," according to Professor Griffin. I would add that another reason is because the most prominent news media personnel continue to work "hand in glove" with the government, as Carl Bernstein originally observed some 34 years ago in the October 20, 1977 issue of Rolling Stone magazine. Or as former CIA Director William Colby once put it: `The Central Intelligence Agency owns everyone of any significance in the major media.'

In a separate chapter, Professor Griffin asks, "Why have Bill Moyers and Robert Parry in Particular Endorsed Miracles?" and then pays tribute to the good work these journalists have done. Later, Professor Griffin concludes that a major reason for Moyers' and Parry's abysmal failures re: 9/11 is their "nationalist faith--the mythical belief that the American government would never deliberately do anything [so] terrible" as murdering their own people on 9/11--despite the overwhelming evidence to the contrary. But according to Professor Griffin, also key is that Moyers and Parry have failed in their job to "follow the truth, wherever it leads," and also "have fallen for the Big Lie." (See postscript on the "Big Lie" in the final paragraph, below). To be sure, Professor Griffin's assessment would tend to explain Moyers' and Parry's "abysmal failures," however, this assessment strikes me as overly generous. In my view, Moyers and Parry appear to be nothing more than left-wing gatekeepers, carrying out the work of true reporters most of the time--thereby establishing credibility and gaining trust with the American people--and then falling in line with the State when it comes to issues of the greatest importance, e.g., what really happened on 9/11, all in a concerted effort to conceal the truth about matters the State deems absolutely essential to its existence.

In the chapter on "Building What?" - which discusses the mysterious collapse of Building 7 and how SCADS (state crimes against democracy) can be hidden in plain sight - Professor Griffin duly notes that two Fox News journalists, Geraldo Rivera and Judge Andrew Napolitano, did have the courage to challenge, on-the-air, the government's untenable position on how Building 7 collapsed. However, neither journalist followed up on this extraordinary story or its implications, probably, as Professor Griffin later notes (on page 235), because the Fox news heads "likely did let [Rivera and Napolitano] know that, unless they said no more about the matter, one or both of them would be let go." As of this writing, neither journalist has dared to speak out any further about the government's cover-up of what really happened on 9/11.

In chapter 5, Professor Griffin discusses what has become his most controversial position, the "Phone Calls From the 9/11 Planes [and] How They Fooled America." In short, Professor Griffin makes a good case for the fact that the reported phone calls--which led the public to believe that the 9/11 planes had been hijacked by Middle Eastern-looking men--were faked. Here, I was somewhat surprised to see Professor Griffin address and thereby dignify with a response, arguments made by one Erik "Loose Nuke" Larson, a prominent presence on the heavily infiltrated 9/11 Blogger website. There, in early 2011, when Professor Griffin was seriously ill and near death, Larson viscously attacked Professor Griffin and his phone-call analysis. That unprovoked attack on Professor Griffin pretty much reduced Larson's internet persona to rubble in the eyes of many, and he became in the process someone to ignore. However, in "9/11 Ten Years Later," Professor Griffin takes the high road and addresses the substance of Larson's rambling arguments, revealing them to be specious at best.

In another somewhat surprising presentation, in chapter 7, Professor Griffin calls for "a consensus approach" among 9/11 Truth activists who have long debated over what actually struck the Pentagon. The author states that the answer to this question is "quite unimportant," because the resulting friction among 9/11 truthers "allows the [State controlled] press to portray the 9/11 Movement as absurd, with members being more concerned with their battles against other truthers than with their differences from the government's account." Although I would like to have seen Professor Griffin address whether this debate is being fueled by cognitive infiltrators posing as 9/11 truthers, it's still hard to argue with his conclusion (on page 197) that "regardless of what hit the Pentagon, the Pentagon was not struck by [Flight] AA 77 under the control of al-Quaeda. And given this consensus, the 9/11 Truth Movement now has the same kind of agreement with regard to the Pentagon that we have with regard to the World Trade Center."

Chapter 8 covers "Nationalist Faith: How It Blinds America to the Truth About 9/11," and it is here that Professor Griffin is at his most insightful. The author effectively and efficiently discusses the history of false flag attacks, and presents the overwhelming evidence indicating that 9/11 was perpetrated on Americans by Americans who were (and remain) intent on blaming Muslims. For those with eyes to see, this should be most obvious. Unfortunately, not many people in this country even bother to look, for they are too invested in a nationalist faith that blinds them to the truth, Professor Griffin states. (I would add that the American people are also too involved in their own little worlds, and way too distracted by sports, entertainment, and electronic devices.) In short, Professor Griffin duly explains in a most compelling way, how and why the nationalist faith phenomenon occurs and persists.

In the final chapter on SCADS, Professor Griffin focuses on the "Professionalization of the 9/11 Truth Movement," listing many of the esteemed professionals who publicly have joined organizations, signed petitions, and indicated "their judgment that the official story is indeed false." These organizations include intelligence officers, journalists, lawyers, medical professionals, pilots, political leaders, veterans, and firefighters--all standing up for 9/11 Truth. Despite this formidable array of professionals, Professor Griffin observes that the 9/11 crime has thus far succeeded. Why? Professor Griffin persuasively discusses the reasons from three key perspectives: (1) Psychological and Sociological (involving shock and rallying around the flag, trusting the president, nationalist faith, the Big Lie, and the power of salary and status); (2) the Press, "by virtue of the fact that the [State controlled] media, rather than giving the public the available facts, have concealed such facts" (page 230); and (3) the Academy (i.e., Academia), which "has devoted virtually no attention to the apparent contradictions of the official account with scientific principles" (page 236).

As Professor Griffin points out, the failure to reveal the truth about 9/11 has not only generated perpetual war, but has also triggered an unprecedented assault on the U.S. Constitution in the form of military and secret tribunals, extraordinary rendition, warrantless surveillance, the "justification" of torture [and murder], states secrets privilege, suspension of habeas corpus, and the authority of the president to initiate war. "It is impossible to see," writes Professor Griffin (on page 241), "apart from revealing the truth about 9/11, how American political life could ever again become more than [the] hollow shell of a democracy" it is now. No doubt. But can this dire situation ever be rectified?

Professor Griffin offers some hope with the idea that more insiders will have to come forward and be willing to speak up (as a few have). And, he says, leading journalists will have to be converted. In closing, Professor Griffin warns that "If the perpetrators of this crime are not brought to justice, then they will believe that they can get away with almost anything. So unless we want continued false-flag attacks, we should do our best to uncover the truth about 9/11."

My take is that the 9/11 masterminds already believe that they can get away with anything, and sadly, it appears, they are probably right. 9/11 is proof of that. Still, it is vitally important for each of us to learn and recognize who we are and where we are, speak truth to power, and do all we can to bring about justice. No one has done more in this regard than David Ray Griffin, whose courageous and ongoing quest to discover and reveal the truth about the most horrific unsolved crime of our era has produced yet another extraordinarily powerful book, "9/11 Ten Years Later," a must-read for anyone interested in the truth about 9/11, and the land we call America.

Postscript on the "Big Lie." The Big Lie is a term reportedly coined by Adolf Hitler in "Mein Kampf," and relates to a lie so enormous that it would never come into the belief systems of ordinary people that such a colossal untruth could be told. Even though undeniable evidence exposing the lie for what it is may be presented to people with this mindset, they will continue to deny the existence of that evidence, and maintain that there must be some other explanation, e.g., the lie itself.

Miraculous 9/11 Stories, Wonderfully Told

The following is my five-star Amazon review of the book Messages: Signs, Visits, and Premonitions from Loved Ones Lost on 9/11, written by Bonnie McEnearney.

Miraculous Stories, Wonderfully Told

As someone who became inspired to pursue "9/11 Truth" after spontaneously connecting with a group of 9/11 spirits while working near Ground Zero in 2008, I was hopeful that the encounters reported in "Messages" would touch on the fact that that there is much more to 9/11 than what the government and mainstream media is telling us. The only instance in "Messages" that arguably comes close to making that point is when Deena Burnett discusses her husband Tom's 9/11 premonitions. Tom said that he didn't know exactly what was going to happen, but predicted that '...it was going to impact a large number of people and that it had something to do with the White House.' Despite the fact that "Messages" included just this one reference to what might be considered a grain of 9/11 Truth, I thoroughly enjoyed reading Bonnie McEneaney's painstaking account of the many wonderful signs and visits from loved ones lost on 9/11, and the positive impact that resulted. "Messages" also confirmed much of the knowledge I have gained during a spiritual quest that began in earnest in 1997, and validated my own metaphysical experiences.

I very much appreciated that Mrs. McEneaney allowed the families and friends of loved ones lost on 9/11 to share their miraculous encounters in their own words. The author's thoughtful introductions to the people involved helps the reader to get to know them. The inclusion of their photographs is a wonderful touch, and very much enhances the feeling of familiarity.

As those familiar with the phenomena are aware, our loved ones in Spirit will use whatever methods they can to let us know that they are okay and that they still love us--be it contact thru dreams, synchronicities, feelings, thoughts, sounds, smell, touch, electricity, coins, animals, or otherwise. The experiences related in "Messages" involve all of these, and more...including a number of the less common methods of contact such as actually seeing a loved one who has crossed over. Of course, HOW any of this can happen will always be a great mystery, but as the insightful Mrs. McEneaney makes clear, connections with loved ones in Spirit do in fact occur and are not all that uncommon.

The author's telling of the extraordinary number of premonitions leading up to 9/11 was especially intriguing, and totally supportive of the belief held by many in the spirituality community that, "The soul knows when it's time to go home."

Since our Western minds will always tend to doubt the validity of metaphysical occurrences--even when we they happen to us--it's very important to share our experiences with others (while being careful with whom we confide). Mrs. McEneaney has performed a valuable service in this regard, by gathering and sharing testimonial evidence that there is life after death, that love never dies, and that our loved ones on the Other Side continue to watch over us. Presented in the context of 9/11, the seminal event of our time, the evidence is that much more powerful and persuasive.

The Rewards of Listening to Spirit

It can very rewarding when we listen to Spirit, even if doing so may seem odd and inappropriate. For example, while wrestlng with certain writing issues, I emailed medium Patti Sinclair (whom I had met some years before), out of the blue, to get her permission to reference in one of my writings, a reading she had done. Patti graciously agreed and I published the writing. However, the real story is that my contacting Patti set up a series of marvelous synchronicities involving my son Ryan, who has crossed over but is alive and active in Spirit, and who arrived at one of Patti’s gallery events to help her deliver a number of healing messages to people who had lost children. Very rewarding for all involved! And later, my older daughter Kristen was to follow thru on a nudge she had gotten some years before, and contact Patti for a reading. As a result, Kristen was rewarded with marvelous messages from beyond in which many family members came thru Patti with validating information.

My take is that none of these rewards would have manifested had I not listened to Spirit and contacted Patti. Somehow (I have no idea how) my contacting Patti led to my son's showing up in Spirit to assist her at the gallery event and help bring about a number of healing messages.

Here is how the story unfolded, beginning with an email Patti sent to me on January 24, 2009:

I had a gallery event last night in Bloomfield , Ct. There were about 45 people who attended. There was a young man, maybe about 23 or 4, standing, in Spirit, up in the front of the room with me. He had a good sense of humor and was clearly very ascended. I kept telling the audience members what he was doing as it made me laugh the way he would pace when I would pace. He would rub his head when I would rub mine etc.
At one point I asked him why he was here and he said, "To bring the other kids in…I help greet the kids who don't make it, mostly teenagers and young 20 somethings...It's my work. I love it." Fair enough. As I said before, I liked his energy. I was blessed to have him there with me.
Half way through the reading I said, "Do you want to tell me your name? Maybe your family is here." Brian...Brian? "Does anyone have Brian in Spirit?" No takers...I look at him…Brian? Then I look over at my daughter and she has a white glow around her and I see him point to her and smile. Now he is standing behind her. My daughter's name is Alanna RYAN...He smiles at me again and I ask the group. "Is it Ryan? Does anyone have Ryan in Spirit?”
I can't tell you how it happened but just minutes after that the energy switched. A kid who was killed on a motorcycle on his way returning it to the dealer because his parents didn't approve of it, came through to his adoring Aunt and cousin. They have been waiting 6 years to hear from him. A kid who drowned in a lake at 15 in 1978 came through to his Mother's best friend. She (the Mom) has not moved forward in her life since then. A young girl who was killed with three other teens two years ago came through to her best friend who came on a "whim" at the last minute to the gallery…It was really amazing. Even to me.
I thanked Ryan for coming and he said he would come again if it was ok with me. I said of course it was ok. I would love it.
When I got to my room last night one of the attendees had written me a note to say that she has seen auras around people only three times in her life. One around her husband when he came home from the military, one around a young boy in a church she attended and one around me last night. She said it was white with a ruffled edge. She told me it made her cry. I knew it must have been Ryan.
When I got home this morning (we spent last night on the road), I went upstairs to rest because I have to work again tonight. As I crawled into rest for a bit my husband came in and said, "Oh, I forgot to give you this. It came in yesterday's mail." It was your book [Into the Mystic (From the Streets of Brooklyn)]. I sipped my tea and started reading... "Then [medium] Suzane [Northrop] said, ‘Someone over here has lost a child. Who has Brian?’ Then I said, ‘Is it Ryan?’ I wept and then said a prayer to your son thanking him for being in service and for changing the lives of so many. He certainly showed me his Mystical ways last night.
However this "feels" to you I honor it. I only know that from my viewpoint as a professional medium, this is another beautiful message from your cherished son. You MOST certainly HAVE raised a beautiful spirit.
God's blessings and grace to both of you...To all of us..xx

I wrote back to Patti saying,

thanks so very much for the beautiful message--awesome and validating on a number of levels. first, it appears that the experience occurred on jan 23, 2009, right? ryan was born on jan 23, 1982, so he came to you on his birthday. that would make him 27 if he were here today in the physical, but when he appeared to me in 1997 he also appeared looking a couple or three years younger than he would have been, so the fact that he presented himself to you looking "maybe about 23 or 4" is consistent and validating.
may i ask, what do you mean that he "was clearly very ascended?" i know that when he appeared to me in 1997 he seemed to be "a prince of the cosmos," as i described him in my book. later i would interpret this to mean that i was connecting more with his oversoul. now i'm thinking that "princely" look may have had something to do with his "very ascended" aspect, as you describe it. what do you think?
re: you statement that "At one point I asked him why he was here and he said, 'To bring the other kids in.'" this strikes me as the flip-side of "psychopomp" work in shamanism which involves helping lost souls find their way to where they should be on the other side. i have done some psychopomp work myself and so i find it synchronistic that my son in spirit is doing like work by helping souls find their way to their loved ones here.
thanks so much for this: "As I said before, I liked his energy. I was blessed to have him there with me."
the way he got his name across to you by standing near your daughter Alanna RYAN was just too much! and i will point out that since my book and press kit were mis-mailed to you, they arrived late, but with perfect timing for you to read after ryan showed up -- how in sync his visit to you was when compared to when he came to me thru suzane northrop, as i write about in the second chapter of the book. had the press kit and book been mailed to the right address and arrived on schedule, you might have read that second chapter a few days earlier, and this one validating synchronicity would not have emerged in the validating sequence that it did.
so great that ryan helps bring children on the other side to their loved ones here, including the kid who was killed on a motorcycle, the kid who drowned, and the young girl.
all of what you experienced and shared most certainly "feels" great to me, and i definitely honor it as well.
re: "You MOST certainly HAVE raised a beautiful spirit." well, thanks but i can't take credit for raising him. in many ways, he has raised me--spiritually. but i hear what you are saying in that regard. i do "HAVE" a son in spirit, and i like to think that my connections with him here somehow help raise him as well.
THANKS SO MUCH!!!!!

Patti replied as follows:

All I can say is "Oh My Goddess!" How incredibly great that YOU are validating WHY Ryan had the Birthday candles around him when he and I were "talking" at the front of the room..DUH!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I kept asking the participants if the B-day message was for their loved one but they weren't…I wasn't putting a real personal spin on "Ryan" as he came to me, so it never occurred to me that he was showing me the validation for himself. It was Ryan who kept the package from arriving on time, of course! How great! . . . I am so blessed to have been able to share this miracle with you.. . [Later,] I saw Ryan again. He was wearing an NYU sweatshirt and a very worn pair of Levi jeans. Bare feet and a warm smile. He didn't say anything, just winked at me. . .

I answered and said:

re ryan's NYU sweatshirt -- i have a law degree from nyu and my older daughter got her BA from nyu as well. . .

Later, I shared these emails with my daughter Kristen who further validated the information coming thru Patti, in an email to me:

Hey Dad,
Thanks so much for sending this. I really appreciate it! . . . definitely too many coincidences for me to get too left brain about it. Anyway, one thing that really stands out to me is this...There were many times when I was with Mimi [Kristen’s maternal grandmother who passed recently] after she got sick that I felt DPs around, especially when she was in the hospital or very sick in her bed at the nursing home. I think these are the times that she was more towards the spirit world than the physical. Well, I was more in touch with feeling Ryan around than anyone else, and sometimes Nana [Mimi’s mother] too. Mom used to say she felt her dad a lot, but I wasn't really getting that, perhaps because I didn't know him. Sometimes I would feel Ryan standing next to me or behind me when I was next to Mimi's bed. A lot of times I would be talking to Mimi when I felt this and she would stop looking at me and focus on a point past my shoulder and start cracking up laughing. I got the sense of him making goofy faces at her behind my back to make her laugh. Then other times I would sense him leaning against the footboard or the window or a wall, very casual like Patti described, with sort of a looping grace. . .
So after a few times of this, whenever I would feel him across the room, I would stare at the spot and trying "see" more clearly his features or get some kind of sign (looking for some sort of validation, I guess!), and almost always the thing that came through was him winking at me! At the time I thought that was so random, I mean, who winks at people? So, when I read that part in Patti's description (along with the NYU sweatshirt, which has you said has significance for us both) the only thing I could think of was "Holy crap!" :)
Anyway, you've mentioned Patti to me before. A few yeas ago I tried to set up an appointment for my friend…and I to go see her. We had a few tentative dates, but [my friend] kept backing out or not responding so I stopped trying. I didn't really want to drive by myself to Connecticut so it didn't materialize. I doubt very much that she would recall this, but wanted to let you know. She seems really great, and I like her new website!

Indeed Kristen went on to make an appointment with Patti this month (May, 2009) and the results were off the charts! I’ve asked Kristen to describe what happened in a comment to this blog here, and I hope that she soon will.

Thanks for reading!
